What are your thoughts on the DA's latest Ad campaign?
DA Youth poster spoofs go viral.
White domestic workers, dogs hugging cats and black horses mounting white horses – these images dominated social media sites on Wednesday as the latest DA youth ad campaign ignited the web.
The controversial “In our future you wouldn’t look twice” campaign poster, showing a black woman and white man in an intimate embrace, inspired the spoof posters, which have gone viral.
DA Student Organisation leader Aimee Franklin said they found the spoofs entertaining. “One or two are over-the-top but … it’s a good indication that the campaign was relevant,” Franklin said.
“We needed to spark a debate – openly and candidly.
“So we are very happy with the level of debate.”

This video really encapsulates what it's like to live in Cape Town.
The Native Cape Town elves hard at work to get Santa's Shoeboxes ready for Xmas.
Kidz2Kidz’s Santa Shoebox Project is an inspiring community initiative that co-ordinates the donation, collection and distribution of personalized gifts at Christmas time to underprivileged children; while at the same time helping parents teach their own children about the joys of giving.
Participating is a profoundly valuable and personal experience as the donor knows the name, age and gender of the child that he/she chooses to donate to and the name of the organization that cares for the child.
